Career Assessment Counselling Services (CACS) is an independent organization which functions under the board of directors. It is established in response to the emerging induction and outsourcing policies of public as well as private sector organizations and government departments under Act 2017, Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan. CACS is headquartered in Islamabad, Pakistan that offers to induct skilled and energetic workforce, conduct surveys and trainings and to evaluate skills required by certain departments for the prosperity of Pakistan & Pakistani Nation.
As the name CACS implies, at its first look carries out “Career Assessment” the goal of which is to advise the potential employee(s) / candidate(s) regarding career choices. During this assessment, the focus is on the job that at this point would be the best fit for a candidate and the changes / adjustments that shall have to be made in order to ensure an optimal performance.
Second objective in CACS is the “Counselling” which is a major area of concern for a candidate in the choice of career management decision which is quite cumbersome. CACS has made it easier to demonstrate knowledge in assessment, group work, career development, helping relationships, human growth and development, social and cultural diversity, research and program evaluation, and professional orientation and ethical practice.
